It has been 5 days since I received 4 Epidural Steroid Injections in my lower spine, to try and stop 

ongoing nerve pain I have been suffering from for nearly 4 years.
The good news is, that it appears to have worked.
The pain has all but gone, and I am able to stand at my easel for a reasonable period of time,
without suffering terrible pain in my lower back and down both legs.
I am so happy.

Now I am dealing with coming off heavy duty opiate pain medications,
realising that my dependance on them was becoming a health issue of its own.
I am happy to say that, over the past 5 days, I have cut down my intake of these drugs
 by about 80%, it has not been easy, and I pity those who have to kick more potent drug habits,
as at times, over these past 4-5 days my journey was hellish to say the least....but I am getting there.
